The bi-directional thrust ball bearing is composed of a shaft washer, two housing washers and two ball retainer components. The bearing is separable, so it is easy to be installed, and every part can be installed separately. The bearing’s housing washers and ball retainer components are the same with those of unidirectional bearing. The bi-directional thrust ball bearing can bear bi-directional axial load and achieve bi-directional axial positioning, but it absolutely cannot bear any radial load.

1. It has two types of bearing: bi-directional type and unidirectional type.

2. In order to allow installation error, both the bi-directional type and unidirectional type can choose the spherical self-aligning spherical seat cushion type or spherical housing washer type.

Bearing Application

It is only suitable for machine components with unidirectional axial load and low rotation speed, such as crane hook, vertical pumps, vertical centrifugal machine, jack, low-speed reducer etc. Shaft washer, housing washer and rolling element of the bearing are separable and can be installed and taken apart separately.
